Singer, Songwriter Gustavo Biermann is a Chilean born US citizen who writes music about his experience as a stranger in a strange land. Raw Chili is a collaboration with world music percussionist Jamie Papish who together create compelling music that is both intimate and driving. This is their first CD project and includes music Gustavo has been writing for over 10 years plus a collaborative piece called Dragon which has very interesting time signatures. Some people compare our music with the Gypsy Kings in terms of it’s Latin flavor and rhythms although it was created organically without trying to copy any particular genre or band. We are proud of our first release and I’m sure you will feel the heart and passion in this music which was born out of struggle.
